Yummy

I think she liked it... at least what
made it into her mouth

Natasha is 6 months old and is no longer our little baby that we had to hold all the time. Now she enjoys sitting up and playing with her toys. She had her 6 month check-up today and here are her stats:

Weight: 17 lbs. 11.5 oz. (75th percentile... still our chunky monkey)
Length: 26.25" (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 43 cm (70% percentile)

She also got her vaccines and a flu shot. We got the go ahead to start her on rice cereal. I've actually been giving her tastes of different fruits and veggies before the rice cereal and I think we will have one good little eater on our hands. She gobbled up her rice cereal after our appointment. I'm looking forward to making her some veggies next. Maybe sweet potatoes to kick off fall... if only the weather will shift gears and bring on the cold snugly days.

Natasha has been a busy bee these past few weeks. Besides the UCLA games, we joined a 2010 Babies club in Ladera where we meet other babies that were born in 2010 (and I get to meet some moms, which is nice). We have had a few get togethers and will be having many more in the next couple of months. It will be nice for Natasha to have some local friends her age that she will also attend school with. Natasha and I have also signed up for free music classes in Ladera. We went to our first one on Monday and met some other kids and moms and dads too. Natasha might be a little young to play with the instruments (she mainly chews on them) but she loves watching the older kids sing and dance around.

Lastly, Natasha attended her second wedding in her first year of life. Our friends, Julie and Shai were married on September 24th (Natasha's 6th month birthday) in beautiful Newport Beach. It was a fun weekend of festivities with the rehearsal dinner bonfire on Thursday night, wedding on Friday and the brunch on Saturday. Natasha sat in her first highchair at the wedding and we no longer have her in the snap 'n go stroller. She is now forward facing in her strollers so she can now look around and see the world!

Thanks for checking in on our monkey!

I ♥ My Daddy

I root for the Vikings with my Daddy (I root for the Chargers too)

Tummy time with Daddy

More tummy time with Daddy

I also root for the UCLA Bruins with my Daddy

Go Bruins!

Summer is coming to an end and football is in the air... well, at least in the Larson Manor. After watching the Vikings (in the comfort of our home) last Thursday, Natasha attended her first (of six) UCLA game on Saturday. It was a long day and hard work with an infant, but we survived and would not want it any other way. We want Natasha to experience these events with us and according to Zac, we will be getting season tickets every year! Hopefully, Natasha will always enjoy watching football or at least cheering for her Daddy's favorite teams!

Natasha turned 5 months on August 24th and is definitely keeping us busy (hence the delay of a new post). We have been swimming a lot on the hot days of summer and going for lots of walks on the cooler ones. Natasha has finally got the hang of rolling over from her tummy to back and we are getting closer to her rolling over from her back to her tummy! She is still chatting away and greets daddy every morning with smiles when I bring her into bed with us. She loves getting kisses and giving them too. Her hands have been very active lately... grabbing toys, our faces, our hair, her blanket and her books. Not to mention her sucking on her hands constantly.

Stay tuned for pictures of our first UCLA Football game on Sept. 11th!

Enjoy the long weekend!
